The Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston completed in 2019 a nearly two year renovation of the building. This included the removal of a sea of carpeting which was replaced by marble and stone. The reverb time more than doubled. It is now about five seconds.
More importantly, the organ now easily fills the entire Cathedral—the largest church in New England. While only minor improvements were made the organ during the renovation of the building, the environment has truly transformed its sound and liturgical usefulness.
